Store Policies

Methods of Payment:  We can accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover through PayPal.  We will accept a personal check but we will hold the shippment for 10 days to make sure that the check will clear. 


Shipping Time:  Normal shipping time will take 7 to 10 days depending on the time of the year.  However, if the item you order does not happen to be in stock, shipping could take up to six weeks.  We will notify you via email or personal phone call if the item you ordered is out of stock.  We will keep you posted as to its arrival.


Shipping Methods:  Our usual method of shipping is via United States Postal Department.  In some rare cases, we may use other methods of shipping.  We will notify you if we selected another method of shipping other than USPS.



Damaged Shipments: Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed through the USPS or other freight carrier.  If any packages are missing or damaged, be sure to note so to your local post office.  We are not responsible for damage caused by the carrier. 


Return Merchandise Policy:  We provide a 100% money back guarantee if the following instructions are adhered to! 

  1. Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department.  You have 30 days from the ship date to receive refunds.  You must email the refund request to john@amazingfromafrica.com with "RETURN" in the subject field.  A return authorization number or RA number with return instructions will be sent to you.  If you do not have email capability, you may call us at 620-232-3134 to acquire an RA number.  No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.  Products being returned must have an RA# issued before returned.  You will be required to return the unused or empty container along with a statement as to why you are returning the product.  Any authorized return received after the 30 days will be given a credit for other products. 
  2. If you received a different product than initially purchased, the item must be returned with the following in order to receive 100% credit. 
  • All original contents with the unopened container, the original bag (if appropriate) and any instructions.
  • Original packaging.
  • Original invoice or receipt.

 

 


Once a return is authorized by our return department you should:

  1. Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
  2. Wriet the Return Authorization Number clearlyon the box or package.
  3. Keep you shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise.  Returns shipped via United States Postal Service or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured.  We cannot be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.


We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.  You are responsible for all shipping charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part.  We are not responsilbe for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, error in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
